New Leaders of No Labels: Gov. Huntsman and Sen. Manchin

We are proud to announce that former Gov. Jon Huntsman (R-UT) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) have signed on as our new national leaders. The duo will make their first public appearance together on Jan. 14, 2013, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City at the Meeting to Make America Work!

“As governors, both Jon Huntsman and Joe Manchin developed well-earned reputations as problem solvers,” said No Labels Co-Founder Mark McKinnon. “That’s precisely the attitude we need more of in Washington and these two leaders will be great advocates and spokesmen for our movement.”

“On the heels of a fiscal cliff resolution that postponed action on many critical issues, it will be essential to have Democrats and Republicans willing to search for common ground in the months ahead,” said No Labels Co-Founder Bill Galston. “At this moment in our history, working to bridge the partisan divide is both the principled and the patriotic thing to do. Governor Huntsman and Senator Manchin can play a critical role in building support across the country for our parties coming together.”
