Senator John Kerry to Discuss National Infrastructure Bank and Other Solutions with No Labels Community

On April 19, Senator to Participate in National Town Hall Teleconference Series

Tomorrow, Thursday April 19 at 12 p.m. eastern time, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) will conduct a town hall teleconference with tens of thousands of No Labels supporters across America to discuss the urgent need to rebuild America’s infrastructure. Please email press@nolabels.org or call (202) 588-1990 for dial-in information.

“Like the famed New York City Mayor La Guardia used to say, there is no Democratic or Republican way to clean the streets,” said Sen. Kerry. “We are living off the infrastructure of our parents and grandparents, and investing in the next generation of highways, railroads and bridges shouldn’t be a partisan issue. The infrastructure bank I’ve proposed with Senators Kay Bailey Hutchison, Lindsey Graham, Mark Warner and others will create jobs, attract billions in private capital, modernize our economy and have benefits that spill out all across our nation. I hope we can get rid of the politics and embrace this idea which is long overdue, and I want to thank No Labels for providing a forum to discuss this solution.”

“No Labels is thrilled to have Sen. Kerry participating in an ongoing series of bipartisan town hall teleconferences,” said No Labels Co-Founder Kiki McLean. “In this election year, it's easy to get caught up in the political horse race. But we can’t just wait for another election to solve our problems. We need solutions now and No Labels is working to ensure our leaders work together to find them.”

No Labels hosts a continuing series of town hall teleconferences with elected officials and private sector leaders such as Governor Mitch Daniels, Senator Mark Warner, Senator Joe Manchin, former Senator George Voinovich, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz and Panera Bread CEO Ron Shaich.
