Dr. Ami Bera and Rep. Dan Lungren’s race to represent California’s 7th Congressional District is still yet to be called for either candidate -- it’s come down to 184 votes.

No Budget, No Pay bills have already been introduced in the Senate (S. 1981) by Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) and in the House (H.R. 3643) by Rep. Jim Cooper (D-TN), and both bills have numerous bipartisan co-sponsors. S. 1981 was referred to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and H.R. 3643 was referred to the House Committee on House Administration. From here, the respective committees can choose to hold hearings on the bills or move directly to the committee markup and voting process.

This is the first time in nearly three years he has raised more money than his opponent Ami Berra.
