NO SOLUTIONS? Gridlock has been the theme in Congress for the past four years, and The Washington Post editorial board asks the question: How could President Obama fare without working across the aisle in his second term? While some interviewed believe some laws could pass without much compromise, "Most fundamentally, any solution to the nation’s fiscal crisis is going to require compromise. No matter who is in charge, taxes will have to go up and entitlements will have to be scaled back.
