Courage to Put Country First
In American politics today, it doesn’t take courage to follow the party line. You don’t need a backbone to hurl pot shots at the other side. To stir up hate and recrimination. To gum up the works. To refuse to cooperate.
Since 2009, No Labels has worked tirelessly to give a voice to America’s commonsense majority. We’ve made a notable impact in Congress by creating the bipartisan House Problem Solvers Caucus and connecting them with an allied Senate group through regular bicameral meetings.
Thanks to these leaders, a lot more has been accomplished in Washington these past few years than you might think. Our House and Senate allies led the passage of the biggest public works bill since President Eisenhower’s creation of the Interstate Highway System, the first federal gun safety bill since the 1990s, a major innovation bill to ensure America outpaces China in semiconductors and other key technologies of the future, and a rewrite of the outdated 1887 Electoral Count Act to prevent a repeat of the January 6, 2021, riots in Washington, D.C.
As these leaders have shown courage, No Labels has mobilized a nationwide network of citizens to support them. Local leaders in every state are working to grow our movement and stand with leaders willing to put their country before their party.
Now, we are working to shape the debate around the 2024 presidential election. We are developing a Commonsense Policy Agenda that we know most Americans will rally around. And we have launched our 2024 presidential insurance project, where we’re gaining ballot access in states across America to lay the groundwork for a potential independent unity presidential ticket. Most Americans today do not want a rematch of the 2020 presidential election. If they continue to feel that way in 2024, and there is a viable path to victory for a unity ticket, No Labels’ ballot line will give America’s commonsense majority the option to propel that ticket to the White House.
