Intern

Experience the thrill of grassroots organizing, successful media campaigns, and citizen engagement with a fellowship at No Labels. Fall, spring and summer fellows will experience the fast-paced, dynamic world of political activism at one of the nation's fastest-growing political nonprofits. With countless opportunities - from growing a grassroots movement in the field to transitioning that movement to tangible legislation on the Hill to honing communications skills in our digital, press and development departments - a fellowship at No Labels will provide any motivated, enthusiastic applicant ample opportunity to grow and thrive in multiple disciplines. We are now accepting applications for part-time and full-time summer fellowships.

Become fully immersed in the daily operations of a political nonprofit in the heart of our nation's political capital.

Field

The Field Fellow participates in on-the-ground outreach and recruitment of new No Labels activists to spread our bipartisan message. The Field Fellow will work directly with the Field Team to recruit college and district leaders through focused research and phone calls.

The Field Fellow will also help maintain relationships with our current leaders by keeping them updated on new members in the area and help coordinate meetings with members of Congress.

The Field Fellow will learn how to use Salsa, a fundraising software used by thousands of nonprofits across the country, to keep track of and store data. The Fellow will have the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds – from citizens to local leaders to members of Congress – in varying environments.

Applicants applying for the Field Fellowship must demonstrate enthusiasm and must be comfortable taking initiative when appropriate. They should have strong interpersonal skills and have a working knowledge of and interest in national politics.

Digital/Graphic Design

The Digital Fellow will develop graphics for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email and website and help expand No Labels’ social media presence and strategic development of new initiatives. The fellow will also develop short videos for social media, website, email, and presentations, and help oversee visual campaigns to enhance strategic communications. The fellow will work closely with the Digital teams, but also interface with all other departments of No Labels to ensure consistent messaging.

The Graphic Design Fellow should have at least some experience with the following:
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Premier
• InDesign
• WordPress or compatible software programs

Research

The Research Fellow will help provide the information required to support the daily operations of a non-profit. The Research Fellow is responsible for assisting all departments with investigative research to provide support for new initiatives, programs, and legislation developed at No Labels.

Specifically, the Research Fellow will assist the Field, Political, Development, Digital, and Press departments, supporting each team with credible, reliable information. For example, the fellow will assist the development department with identifying potential donors including corporations, foundations, and individuals. Organization of time and resources are highly recommended for this fellowship, as is a passion for research and a background in analysis.
