Week in Review: May 17

Here’s the latest in No Labels news!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Want to stay up to date with No Labels? Want to know how to get more involved? Join us every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., EDT, for a quick call with our leaders and staff. Click here to RSVP.

THE THREE AMIGOS: This week three more members of Congress agreed to the framework for a National Strategic Agenda and signed on as co-sponsors to the resolution (H.Res.207). That gives us a total of 41 co-sponsors!

ON THE HILL: We gathered several congressional senior staffers on the Hill to discuss our progress on the resolution and make plans for continued recruitment.

BE PART OF HISTORY: In exactly one month, there will be a Senate committee hearing on the framework for a National Strategic Agenda and you’re invited! There is no cost to attend the hearing and afterwards we will be hosting a citizens training session and lunch will be provided.

CAMPAIGN TRAIL: We are revving up for the 2016 presidential campaign and doubling down in Iowa and New Hampshire. We are making plans to be at the Iowa State Fair and getting ready to host the first-ever National Problem Solver Convention in New Hampshire.

ME VS. WE: Yesterday, the ever-wise Gov. Jon Huntsman gave the keynote speech at the University of Arizona’s commencement ceremony. “Ask yourself,” he said. “Are your goals me-centric or we-centric?”

NO LABELS RADIO: With Gov. Huntsman in Arizona, No Labels Co-Founders Sen. Evan Bayh and Bill Miller filled in to co-host No Labels Radio. Listen as they discuss news of the week and speak with Sarah Neubaum, Wheaton College No Labels Chapter President. Tune in at 10 a.m., EDT, every Saturday, for more exciting segments of No Labels Radio on SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S. Channel 124!
