In September, we highlighted the concerning number of election deniers running in the 2022 midterms for statewide positions that could affect how votes in the 2024 elections are counted.
According to the States United Democracy Center, in 43 races across 28 states, someone running for governor, attorney general, or secretary of state cast doubts on the integrity of the 2020 elections.
With Election Day in the rearview mirror, here’s how those races ended up panning out. While the gubernatorial race in Alaska is yet to be called, as it stands, election deniers won 14 of their races, but lost 28 – twice as many.
